I'm a son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, son-in-law, brother-in-law and friend. I used to be an employee and a colleague, when I was able to work. Of the first list, none are more important than the other rôles. When the one's related to work were involved, they were of lesser importance than the others.

These days, I write (novels and short stories), blog and sometimes craft (jewellery making, cross-stitching and knitting). The writing is the highest priority of these, and is something I've done since childhood. In recent months, I've published four ebooks, each a short story, and released them for free. Poor health has a big impact on my life, often preventing activities. Disability has made it impossible for me to go out to work. I owe a huge debt to my wife, Jenny, for her unshakeable support through it all.
