Strengths Quest

I chose to talk about Harmony which, I believe, means that I want everyone around me to be in agreement about issues and that there is no point of arguing about small details when we should be focused on the big picture. I identify with this because I don't want major conflicts to cause problems in my life. If there is something that I strongly believe, I will fight for that, however, little details don't worry me. This impacts my life overall because in my friend group, I'm the peace maker who wants everyone to be friends. In my academic life, I am able to keep a group moving, but I also take in everyone's opinions.

Letter to Myself

In the letter to myself, I described how going to OSU was going to be extremely helpful for my education and future career. It also mentioned how it will bring me closer to my brother, who recently graduated from OSU. I spoke about how excited I was to start my own future here in a new and different place and meeting new people. Through writing this, I learned more about why I chose to attend Ohio State and it still makes me very happy to think about my love for this school, the memories I have made, and the people I have met.

My Ohio State Tradition

For my Ohio State tradition, I chose singing Carmen Ohio after football games because I love seeing everyone come together to celebrate a win or comfort each other after a loss. I still enjoy watching everyone in the stands sing in unison a song about our love for Ohio State and each time I see it, I am reminded again of my love for this school and the spirit and excitement everyone shares.
