Through his research facility in Anaheim, California, Stewart Lebrun has led efforts to develop a full line of diagnostic tests, including a unique in vitro product for the identification of ocular corrosives/irritants and a multiplex immunoassay for the identification of Celiac disease. Before establishing this facility in 2009, he served eight years as the director of research and development for Miragene, an Anaheim-based company that focused on medical diagnostics for both specific invading pathogens and general biological functionality. While with Miragene, Stewart Lebrun completed significant work in areas that ranged from protein purification to conjugation chemistry.

The results of Stewart Lebrun’s research have appeared in peer-reviewed publications, including the Journal of Immunological Methods and the Journal of Interferon & Cytokine Research. Mr. Lebrun has also done his part to educate the next generation of medical scientists as a part-time instructor at both Long Beach City College and California State University, Fullerton.
