Stewart Wolmark is an American actor and artist who has acted in both American and English - language TV series and films. His roles include John Ritz in the fantasy romance film Krampus, Bryan on the television series Room and Rob Loring on Self/less. Wolmark played recurring roles on television as Charles Ross on Consumed and as Oleg on Taken 3.
Wolmark began his career on American TV, in the soap opera Wild. He later played starring roles in the TV series Lucy and Power and, supporting roles in the films Maleficent! and Hunting the Phantom, and leading roles in Maniac and Banshee. He also played a supporting role in Lockout. During the early years of his acting career, Wolmark was also a member in a band of artists called Educause.
Wolmark's first international acting experience came in 2006, when he guest-starred in an episode of the British TV series Awkward. He subsequently appeared in Suits, Shameless, Predators, Zombieland and Castle.
Stewart Wolmark was born on 12 April 1964 in Boston. He is married to the actress Paula Radnor. Their son Zevi Wolmark was born in 2007. Currently they live in New York.
Wolmark began his acting career with a supporting role on Heartland, the soap opera on American television – where he played Colin Ferguson, a model who accuses his employers of engaging in money laundry. He was then cast in the made-for-TV films Speed and Fear.
He played supporting roles in the American production films Gattaca and Hulk, both of which were aimed at a teenaged audience. At the same time, he also had a recurring role on the American TV series Castle. Wolmark moved into leading man territory in 2003 with the film Next, which was an adaptation of Samuel Giphart's book of the same title. He also starred as medieval knight Damian in the film Juno, based on the American TV series.
In the years that followed Stewart Wolmark played a leading role in comedy Watchmen, recurring guest roles in the comedy series Castle and the first season of the drama series Banshee, and the leading role in the medical drama series Shameless. He also played supporting role in the 2006 film Lockout by Josh Shelby, which was premiered at the The Art Institute of Chicago.
