A twenty-year professionl in public relations and marketing, Steve Griffith has worked at the highest levels at Alan Taylor Communications' sister company, Pyramid Public Relations; NBC Sports, Madison Square Garden; Main Events; The Worldwide Senior Tennis Circuit and The Festival Group. He is an elite talent who specializes in the applicatino of state-of-the-art tactics to reach the desired result.
He served as co-general manager of Pyramid, helping to grow the business into a $3 million agency in less than two years. At NBC, he promoted all major events in the Sports Division including the Super Bowl, the World Series, Wimbledon, the Rose Bowl, the Fiesta Bowl and the Big East College Basketball Tournament.
At Madison Square Garden, Griffith was the only director who served on both the Public Relations and Marketing Committees for company-wdie initiatives. Hi day-to-day responsibilities included dutiees specific to Madison Square Garden Network and Boxing, both of which thriived during this tenure.
With the Worldwide Senior Tennis Circuit, he played the pivotal role in establishing the Nuveen Tour brand when the Jimmy Connors/Bjorn Borg/John McEnroe circuit acquired its umbrella sponsor. Simultaneously, he established a PR services profit center at RHB Ventures, which owned and operated the tennis tour.
Griffith's current client list includes NBC Sports (American Century Championship, The Skills Challenge; both network television specials), Carson Events International (The National Dog Show Presented by Purina), QuintEvents, Steve Rotfeld Productions and isoBLOX. He has also represented SFX, The National Football Foundations, ACIS, NFL Players Golf Club, Magnum Sports and Entertainment, Tickets Now and the Wachovia USPRO Cycling Championship.
