S'thandiwe Dlalisa

Hey, I’m S'thandiwe . I’m a pre-service teacher living in Johannesburg. I am a fan of technology, education, and writing. I am a Life orientation and Communication Applications and Technology Senior phase and FET Educator. I am currently doing my final year towards obtaining my bachelor’s degree in Education at the University of Johannesburg. I major in Information Communications Technology and Psychology. I firmly believe that "the finest instructors are engaging, knowledgeable, compassionate, supportive, encouraging, and flexible while maintaining high standards". They encourage pupils to learn and support their efforts. I ALWAYS remind my students that experience and knowledge are complementary, much like ice cream and waffles. The two are mutually exclusive. I think it is important to remove students from the text and pictures they see on books and tablets and place them in settings where they can truly see, hear, and interact with the technology we discuss.
