We all need safe places to belong, to be valued, to be part of something. I am passionate about growing community and drawing people in to deeper engagement.

I grew up in a small farming community in Saskatchewan, Canada, and no matter where I go - from Japan to Bangladesh to Cambodia to the UK - I love to foster that small-town connected feeling. In my schools, libraries and classrooms and volunteer activities, I work hard to help others feel safe, included and supported as we are stretched and challenged together.

Libraries and learning hubs can be hothouses for both learning and connectedness. I am excited to collaboratively partner with classroom teachers, facilitating tech integration, multiple literacies, and critical and creative thinking across and beyond the curriculum.
