Daniel Navarro

I have been a ESL teacher for over 17 years. I lived in Montreal, Canada while I was studying Proficiency in English. I knew that I wanted to be a teacher despite all the difficulties I could face in Brazil, especially my hometown in Sao Paulo. After 2 years I left Canada and started my job in Brazil as ESL teacher. It was difficulty but later I got used to it and started developing my own ESL didatic materials. I started preparing some ESl songs. Then in 2004 I created Learning Experience Through Popular Music, which consisted more than 100 songs with intepretation, grammar points and interview with musicians. In 2005 and 2006 I launched a project that would give students more aproach and more entertaining - English through videos, movies, news, documentaries, interviews, etc. Those videos focus on all different types of sujects ranging fom social and urban issues to economic and environment concerns. Since then my job has been pretty successful with companies, engineers, doctors, lawyers among ohters. Moreover I have been worked as a translator and have travelled abroad for many countries including Asia and Middle East.
