Filmmaker, Photographer, and Musician in London, United Kingdom

Stiv Twigg is from Cambridgeshire, England. He moved to the US with his family at the age of 7, and lived there until 2005, when he moved to Bosnia i Hercegovina for a year.
He attended University between 2006 and 2009 in Philadelphia, PA, Ifrane, Morocco, and Durban, South Africa, graduating with a degree in Anthropology and a focus on visual communication.
He spent 8 months travelling between Uganda, Kenya, Ethiopia, Zambia and Malawi developing an advocacy and documentary program engaging with CURE hospital patients and telling their stories. He then returned to the US to freelance and begin graduate study in political science. In 2013 Stiv moved to Ethiopia for the year, working with CURE International as a CUREkids Coordinator, and documenting the amazing work the hospitals do in helping and healing their patients.

While living in different countries, studying languages and building networks, Stiv developed a love for different cultures and a passion to help people heal after conflict and suffering. He believes narrative and storytelling are the key to contextualising suffering and conflict, and working towards reconciliation and healing. Of course there are many narratives at play, and many experiences which factor into each conflict, but he hopes to facilitate communication and reconciliation through honesty, integrity, and storytelling.

Stiv lives in London, and works as a DP, cinematographer and producer.
