Samira Timury

I am a Health Science student option three (Gerontology). Education has been my passion. Dreaming about becoming a health professional has always granted me a powerful energy to positively deal with challenges of academic and personal lives. I am trilingual; I have spent life in three different countries.

My experiences which derive from two different cultural backgrounds have inspired me to learn more about cultural diversity. When I work as health professional, I would like to consider cultural sensitivity as one of the major factors to enhance public health in general and in particular in elder adults.
