Sarah Stone
Artist in Los Angeles, California
I describe my artwork as "Folk Surrealism" because I get my inspirations from dreams and folklore, interwoven with bits of daily life. If there is one "cause" I hope my art can address, it is to illustrate our fundamental connection to each other and all life on our planet. The method by which I find my imagery starts with lucid dreaming. This process leads my imagination into a landscape of mythic archetypes and symbols. I gather and compose these ephemeral impressions into fanciful narratives which, I hope, express basic yearnings and aspirations we all share and can relate to. www.sarahstoneart.com
