I enjoy fencing and all sorts of martial arts, though I’m still a novice at all but fencing. I also love to write; it calms me and allows me to express myself. I lived in Taiwan for two years, during which time I learned to communicate using Mandarin Chinese.

During my time at Salt Lake Community College, I’ve had many opportunities to grow, and I’ve discovered much about myself. I’ve served as literary editor for SLCC’s literary magazine, Folio, and as an intern in the Publication Center. Both jobs have strengthened my love for publishing and for editing, and I look forward to using the skills I’ve learned in my future career.

It is my hope to one day work as an editor at a large-scale publishing company, but I will also continue writing and one day publish my own series of books.
