Stoney Barton

A professional in the chemical manufacturing sector, Stoney Barton earned his undergraduate degree in chemistry from the University of Texas at Austin. The recipient of an American Chemical Society scholarship, Stoney Barton was an original member of the class of volunteers for the university's UTeach Program, which organized science experiences for underserved students in Austin.
After graduating, Mr. Barton founded FSTI, Inc., a manufacturer and distributor of several chemicals used in semiconductor manufacturing. Under his leadership, the company has expanded operations across five states and developed equipment for chemical delivery and blending in the oil and gas industry. Mr. Barton also acquired more than 23 permits in order to construct a chemical plant in Denver, Colorado, that eliminated a significant threat of chlorine gas to the city.
Active in his local community, Mr. Barton is a former volunteer with the charitable organization Mobile Loaves & Fishes and a current member of the Austin Country Club. He enjoys fishing and wakesurfing in his free time.
