Stronsy

Stronsy: What's in a name? This originates way back in my childhood when I became greatly interested in art and design, a bit of a mystery, lost in my past but a rich tapestry of events; views and experiences have broadened the interests and provided a wealth of ideas, inspiration and sheer me. This led to experimental art and design including the use of unusual materials and media in a flurry of exciting activities over many years. Ideas range from the fondly loved "Oliver" story book from early childhood school days held together with colored string to cotton wool stuffed embroidered butterflies hand-stitched onto canvas. Other examples are bas relief llama heads modelled in clay to acrylic cheetahs, wood sculpting to oil painted wood panels and a host of photographic studies and graphic design. One of the ways I publicly display some of my art and design is through Zazzle (www.zazzle.com/stronsy) and through commission work too. So whether you are seeking a unique, individual piece of artistry or a multi-volume product for your wall, store, wardrobe, mantelpiece or whatever, just have a look... Oh, and this profile photograph is a genuine, untouched original by Stronsy.
