Sarah Trott

Hi! My name is Sarah and I'm a sophomore Journalism and Political Science student at the University of Missouri. I ventured from San Diego, California to pursue my love for broadcast journalism at a school that puts this field above all else for its students. It all started when I was a kid, watching the 5 o'clock news with Brian Williams - mostly to procrastinate homework and sit on the couch for thirty minutes with my parents. This ritual pieced together the world for me at an early age - and fostered endless question, emotion and interest. Today, nothing seems more important to me than being engaged and connected with the world we live in.
