Stuart Armstrong

Hello. Welcome to my bio page which you most likely reached via the salesstarsNET blog and website. Born in Montreal to Anglo parents from England and Vancouver, I spent my early childhood in Southern India. I also learned to play "decent" Piano and have kept up this hobby.

I learned passable French, married a French Canadian and raised a perfectly bilingual son. Although thousands of anglo Quebecers left during the seventies, including all my family and dozens of friends, I decided to stay after obtaining my B.Admin at Concordia. I got into sales management, first in the textile industry, then in telecom and IT after my French improved.

I have spent most of my career working in start-up's and new business development, freqeuntly hired by owners to either grow business or fix problems. I have been fortunate in attracting great employers, partners and employees - credit goes to them.

As my late father advised " work for a boss or hire people that are smarter than you" - it has been easy to do this. (ha)
