Optima Summi - Following nine years in the Band of the Grenadier Guards I started a career in business in the payroll industry. In 1999, I became one of the co-founders and Managing Director of Employer Services Ltd (esl). In 2009 I launched the first cloud based payroll solution PaySuite (formally esPAY).

PaySuite was bought by Intuit on 1st August 2014 adding a payroll solution to their successful accounting solution for the SMBs and Accountants QBO.

Outside of work, I am father to Adam & Charlotte and husband to Lorraine. As well as being active in my local Salvation Army church, I also play trombone in the International Staff Band. I continue to raise funds for cardiac research at Great Ormond Street hospital in memory of my eldest son, Richard, and when time allows, I enjoy walking, running and supporting my local rugby team, London Irish.
