You may be asking yourself what this site is or what this page is all about. Well, at risk of sounding like an egomaniac, this page was developed as a snapshot of who I am.
So where to begin? Well, as a kid I remember having spontaneous garage sales at the end of our driveway (which was over 300 yards long), and my dad having to drive me to roofing sites to sell a shingle product since I was only thirteen at the time. That interest in sales only intensified over the years and turned into a career. It seems like my entire life I've been drawn to interact with people. I guess you could say it's in my blood.
After graduating from The University of Windsor in 2001 I was fortunate to be involved in the automotive and sales industry for more than seven years. Whether it was flying to Mexico (on very short notice) for a quality issue, or landing that big account, sales and business development have always been a part of my life. I think it is the challenge and interaction with such a varying spectrum of people that makes it so rewarding.
I have recently found myself on the doorstep of a fulfilling career search after returning from a two year stint overseas. I spent those two years teaching English in Korea after earning my Bachelor of Education from the University of Windsor. I could fill this page with endless chronicles about this amazing country and it's people, but let's just leave it at the best experience of my life...so far! Now I feel it is time to build on such a rewarding and personal career.
You might be asking yourself why I would want to veer from teaching and education. The truth is, I don't. I think that teaching, training and business development all go hand in hand with so many similar challenges and rewards. It's my belief that education is the underlying common denominator for achievement in these arenas.
And what about outside of work? I suppose I could be called a bit of an adrenaline junky. Jumping from an airplane at 11,000 ft might sound insane to some, but for me it is a welcome thrill! Some other things I enjoy that make my mother nervous include bungee jumping, scuba diving, and motorcycles. However, as I age, I do find myself also gravitating a wee bit more towards the arts - photography especially.
