Stuart Deane
Realtor in Arlington, Texas
I grew up in Brisbane, Australia, and from a young age, sports played a huge role in shaping who I am. At Redeemer Lutheran College, I split my time between schoolwork and training, and by the time I graduated in 1988, I had represented Queensland in both athletics and golf. Competing at that level taught me discipline and how to push through setbacks—lessons I’ve carried into every part of my life.
After school, my path shifted toward real estate. I didn’t start out knowing I’d one day own my own brokerage, but step by step, that’s where I ended up. Today, I run TDT Realtors as both owner and active realtor. What keeps me grounded is the same thing that drove me in sports: showing up every day with focus and consistency.
I see my role less about selling houses and more about listening. People come in with hopes, concerns, and priorities—sometimes it’s a yard for a dog, sometimes it’s a quiet street for peace of mind. My job is to hear those details and help guide them to the right place.
I’ve learned to keep my days structured. Each morning, I set three must-do priorities, then work in focused bursts. It’s a rhythm that keeps me sharp without burning out. When I feel overwhelmed, I go back to something familiar—I’ll hit golf balls until my head clears.
At the end of the day, I’m just trying to keep moving forward with purpose, the same way I did back in my athletic days.
