Born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama, leading engineering and construction company owner Stuart Frost is today a resident of Orange County, California. Growing up in Jefferson County, and studying at Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama, keen sportsman and lifelong basketball fan Frost quickly became involved with the SEC.An American college athletic conference located primarily in the South Central and Southeastern United States, the SEC is headquartered in Frost's home city of Birmingham. The SEC is regarded as one of the nation's most accomplished sports conferences, boasting more than 40 national football championships, over 20 basketball championships, and 20 gymnastics championships, as well as 13 College World Series.Despite moving from the Yellowhammer State to California more than two decades ago, Stuart Frost remains a keen follower of the SEC, and, in particular, SEC Men's Basketball.Today a veteran of California's thriving construction industry, responsible for some of the largest projects to break ground in the state in recent years, Frost's strong family ties often take the businessman the approximately 2,000 miles back to his roots in Jefferson County. Here, the father of four and his sons are able to indulge, in person, in their shared love of SEC Men's Basketball, while also following SEC baseball, soccer, swimming and diving, and track and field.In his free time, Frost is also involved with the SEC Academic Leadership Development Program, the SEC College Tour, and the SEC Symposium, an academic conference held annually in Atlanta, Georgia, displaying the research and innovation of SEC institutions for an audience of government officials, academicians, grant funding agents, and SEC stakeholders.
