I was born in Stuttgart in the late 60s. After university I started my career in eventmarketing before moving on to consultancy at Detecon Marketing Consulting. Moving forward to Ericsson consulting the scope changed from the financial and partly telco enviroment to mobile communications.

Iin 2004 I joined Huawei Technologies as one of the first Europeans and after securing the very first UMTS contract for Huawei in Europe (Telfort) I was the co-founder of the Vodafone Business Unit in Huawei. Starting with two people this unit grew to serve the whole Vodafone group with more than 300 people. Later on I was asked to focus on the terminal area where I managed to get the first Huawei branded handsets into the Vodafone portfolio - a milestone for the shift towards being a terminal brand for Huawei.

In 2013 I was asked to join Samsung where I started as the Global Account Director for the Vodafone group in January 2014.
