Studio Kawaii is the name of the team formed by Ana and Mercedes, Spanish twin sisters that have been creating manga-style comics and graphic novels since 1996, with published works both in Europe and USA.
Their first well-known work came in 2002, with their short story ¿Nocturne¿, published in the Spanish yaoi magazine Itaii Itaii (SBC Ediciones), where they´re still publishing their works.
Their best known work up to now is Treasure, their first full-length graphic novel, published in the USA by Yaoi Press, Ltd. and in Germany by The Wild Side.

They've also worked for the Spanish publishers Mangaline, Nowevolution and Neomusic.
Currently, they work as freelance illustrators, comic artists and character designers for several companies and private customers as well as on "The Soul Chaser", an online comic available onTapastic.com.
