With over 20 years experience Greg designs + builds handmade sustainable furnishings from regionally sourced & reclaimed NW wood + metal in Portland.
Studio G is the custom shop of artist and designer Greg Simons. Studio G creates one of a kind heirloom furnishings, housewares & other specialty projects, collaborating with architects, designers & others to complete very unique + special projects.

After growing up in Chicago, Greg studied art in NYC & received his BFA from CCS in Detroit. Moving west in 1999 he decided Portland would make a fine place to call home. He has been making art & beautiful things for over 20 years. As a professional craftsman in both metal & wood, Greg’s attention to detail gives his work special nuance & the rare kind of quality that makes you want to reach out, touch & take a closer look.
