I help companies think spatially. Everything happens somewhere, and my skill is in aiding organisations make that leap from 'anything might happen somewhere' to 'everything happens, and I know where that place happens to be'. Getting people to think spatially isn't easy. As a solution architect, it's great fun to see people transition from a state of 'not knowing where stuff happens' to 'I know where stuff is', and the business value of it. This massively helps organisations to plan, measure, analyse, predict and - importanly - to monetise better on existing assets. I've helped a number of establishments, including FTSE 100 and Central Government organisations, to realise the value of their own spatial information, and delivered solutions, applications and results.
