Akintoye Ayomide

My name is Akintoye Ayomide Joseph currently undergoing a B.Sc. degree program in Sociology at University of Lagos, Yaba, Akoka, Lagos State. I'm in my finals.

I am a social media influencer/analyst/manager, graphic designer and digital marketer at large.

With over 2 years experience in Public Relations. My professional career dates back to when blogging was the foremost media for online publicity and then there was less use of Social Media as an outlet for online publicity. I started out as a blogger working as a co-founder of FSSgist, one of the most renowned student online community in the University of Lagos then and now, known for it timely update and news though it created a niche for itself centering on a particular faculty in Unilag it was to a large extent a successful online platform.

I have over the years made advancement in PR with self learning gotten from online tutorials and knowledge gotten from interactions with various successful PR person I have had relationships with. Currently I can boast of been a digital marketer, social media influencer, online publicist, content creator, online brand strategist and I also create digital media content with 5 years of experience in graphics design.

I've worked in different capacity as a student PR on different projects both on campus and off campus. I worked as the Director of Online Publicity for an event tagged Universitiesforhumanity, one of the biggest charity event that is directed by students of University of Lagos and can boast of two editions in a row and other student event I can seem to remember.

Most recently I have worked as an ad-hoc publicist for Afrotainment working on Stand Up 9ja boxing day experience. On this project I was saddled with the responsibility of creating engaging content on each unique digital designs before the event creating an online buzz about the event which happens every year. Other events have worked as a publicist most recently include CollaboBet Easter Concert, National May Day Concert both in Ibadan even with the fact that I am not resident in Ibadan but I have an online base there.

I've worked as the online brand strategist for Sheels Urbane, creativeafrique, oga in the office and Sapphire.Essence working in the capacity of a graphics designer, digital marketer and content creator, all at once.
