I’m Dr. Sai Suman Poojari

Dr. Sai Suman Poojari is a Civil Engineering professional with extensive experience in highway infrastructure, transportation engineering, asset management, technical auditing, digital transformation, and research & innovation. He currently serves as Joint Executive Vice President at Cube Highways Technologies Pvt. Ltd., leading the Technical Audit & Rating Division and Highway Design Department.

With a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering, Dr. Poojari has been instrumental in developing and implementing technology-driven solutions for highway asset management, pavement evaluation, infrastructure monitoring, and data-driven decision-making. He leads multidisciplinary teams across technical audits, digital image processing, network survey technologies, highway design, and R&D initiatives.

As Head of the MINDS Cube Highways Innovation Centre (Mentoring Innovation and Development of Science), he actively promotes innovation, applied research, industry-academia collaboration, and the adoption of emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, GIS, Digital Twins, and advanced pavement assessment systems.

Dr. Poojari has played a key role in the development of HiRATE (Highway Rating and Technical Evaluation), an award-winning digital platform for highway asset monitoring and performance assessment. Under his leadership, the platform has transformed the way highway assets are audited, monitored, and managed across multiple highway concessions in India.

His areas of expertise include Highway Engineering, Pavement Management Systems, Technical Audits, Asset Performance Evaluation, Transportation Analytics, Infrastructure Digitization, Research & Development, and Strategic Technology Implementation.

A strong advocate of continuous learning and innovation, Dr. Poojari regularly contributes to industry forums, professional training programs, technical publications, and collaborative research initiatives aimed at enhancing the safety, sustainability, and efficiency of transportation infrastructure.

His vision is to bridge engineering excellence with digital innovation, creating smarter, safer, and more resilient infrastructure systems for the future.
