Steffon Lamont Josey. Was born on October 20th 1990. Raised on Remsen Avenue In New Brunswick, New Jersey as a young kid, he had big dreams of becoming a “star”. Through out his childhood he was survived by his mother and grandmother. Father gone, Uncles In & out of prison. He found his escape of the wickedness of the deadly streets in his music. Promoting non-violence and knowledge of self. His message can’t be denied. From sneaking tape cassette’s out of the house, Running up the block listening to Nas, AZ, Raekwon & many other Great M.C’s. That cool Autumn day in 1996 made him realize he loved hip hop. Following his dreams as an artist he decided to name himself “Suave The Ape” “Suave” for the way he carries himself. A smooth individual that everyone knew. “The Ape” for the fascination with animals and how smart an “Ape” is. Closest things to humans most people really don’t understand. This day in hip hop people are brainwashed to the ignorance. “The Ape” is different. Something most people won’t understand unless you analyze his creativity and his message.
