A Brief Profile of Pandit Subhankar Chatterjee
Vocalist of Hindustani Classical and Semi Classical style
A prominent name in India and abroad in the field of Hindustani Classical vocal Shri Subhankar Chatterjee was initiated to Classical music at an early age.He took training of Khayal from shri Alok Chatterjee, and later on he gained maturity as a vocalist under the renowned musicologist Late Pandit Kumar Prasad Mukherjee,and attended training Under Pandit Bhimsen Joshi as a visiting scholar. Subhankar has achieved his Masters Degree in History from the Calcutta University, and Sangeet Praveen in Allahabad University.

From a tender age in1995 he started solo performance widely, getting huge appreciation and critical acclaims.
