Subhamoy Das is a former journalist, social media maven and marketing & communications professional based in New Delhi, India. He holds the rare distinction of being India's first professional blogger.

He has over 20 years of experience in marketing, public relations and corporate communications having worked with top MNCs in India. He also has also worked as a journalist and multimedia editor with India's leading media companies including the Hindustan Times, the India Today Group and Cybermedia Limited. Subhamoy wrote on Indian culture, religion and spirituality for About.com - formerly owned by the New York Times Company from 1999 to 2016.

Subhamoy has a Master's Degree in English Literature from the University of North Bengal, India, holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Advertising and Public Relations from the Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC), New Delhi, and has attended management development programs from Duke University, Indian School of Business (ISB), the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta. He is also an alumni of the Swedish Institute, Stockholm where he was selected to attend a Management Program in CSR and Sustainability.

Subhamoy is the author of ‘Applied Hinduism,’ 'A Critical Handbook of Literature in English' and five other books on Indian culture. Subhamoy is an industry expert in social media and communications. He is currently VP of Marketing & Communications for Accenture’s India Business. Previously, he was the Director of Brand & Communications for Deloitte in India. He also headed Communications at PayPal in India and led a team of communications professionals at GE and Genpact.
