A one of a kind destination for art enthusiasts, the Sublime Galleria located on the skywalk of UB City is India’s first sky gallery. Born out of the need to showcase the extensive and eclectic range of art in India, the Sublime Galleria is an art gallery founded by Uzma Irfan, Executive Director of Corporate Communications, Prestige Group. The gallery provides a platform for upcoming artists and also exhibits the works of some of India’s best-known artists. The work it showcases is often as sublime as the name suggests, and it adopts interesting techniques to display the artworks, such as suspending the paintings from the walls to allow the viewers to focus on the art without any distraction. Sublime Galleria was established in 2009, and since its inception, it has been hosting its flagship exhibition ‘Art Bengaluru’, one of the most awaited and most visited art events in the city of Bangalore. It also organises other events throughout the year and is also responsible for curating ‘Berserk’, the talent hunt programme for child prodigies in the field of fine arts and performing arts. Sublime Galleria has established Bangalore as a well-recognised name on the national art scene and is definitely a must-visit destination for residents and tourists alike.
