- Led a team of 13 system engineers to ensure round-the-clock service delivery for Pepsi’s technology infrastructure. Responsibilities included monitoring of over 2500 client servers to ensure flawless backup and recovery, media capacity planning, setting and implementing backup & restore policies and ensuring 24x7 support through workforce planning.
- Initiated and implemented a white belt project to improve operational processes resulting in savings for the client of over USD 20,000.
- Achieved the maximum customer satisfaction rating of 5 consistently in every quarter as a team leader.
- Won the Best Team Award in 2012 under my leadership for consistently exceeding client expectations on adherence to various service level agreements (Examples: Response times for issues raised, turn-around-times to solve these issues).
- Selected for a leadership training program titled “Chrysalis” - youngest team leader to have been selected for this program - that included modules (developed by Harvard Business School) on business communication, negotiation skills and customer focus, among others.

- Awarded stock options in Hewlett-Packard as a systems engineer for my performance that consistently and significantly exceeded expectations every quarter. Responsibilities as a system engineer included monitoring of client servers to ensure smooth backup and restoration routines, coordinating with vendors across the globe to maintain backup infrastructure hardware, administering back-up tools and troubleshooting backup and media related issues among others.
- Won several employee awards totaling over INR 7000 from Hewlett Packard for going above and beyond my responsibilities to ensure smooth execution of critical backups and recoveries.
- Proficient in the latest back-up technologies (Data Protector 6.11), storage devices (EVA 8000, Sony NAS), operating systems (HP-UX, Linux, Windows), programming languages (C, C++), tape library (HP ESL E Series Library, HP EML Library, HP MSL6060 Library) and reporting tools (OVSD).
