Myesha Suckra is a 4th year Telecommunications major at the University of Florida with a minor in Educational Studies. She is from the beautiful island of Jamaica. She lived in Port St. Lucie Florida but now she is in the city of Gainesville pursing her Bachelors degree. Upon graduation in May, she hopes to teach English aboard specifically in a Spanish speaking country while getting to travel. After that she hopes to work in the entertainment industry by being an on air TV personality. Her dream career would be to work for E!News.
She has always had a passion for getting to know many people and listening and telling their stories. When it comes to celebrities she knows about their lives just as well as they know it. She believes in giving the audience what they want and reporting accurately. Myesha has worked with the Radio Reading Service and WUFT 89.1 FM at the University of Florida. As far as the education aspect of her degree she has interned with the Education Foundation of Alachua County.
She believes with determination, perseverance and faith one can achieve anything. Myesha also believes that all you need in this world is love, family and great entertainment!
