SUDARSHAN KISHOR CHAUDHARI

I was born and raised in a nuclear family in Raver, Jalgaon district, Maharashtra, India. We are a family of five: my parents, myself, and my two sisters.

My school years shaped my curiosity and learning mindset. Subjects like mathematics, science, languages, and history interested me deeply, with mathematics being my favorite. I was always more inclined toward understanding concepts rather than memorizing them.

Although I performed well academically throughout my education, I was equally interested in sports, music, and reading. This balance helped me develop both analytical thinking and creativity.

I completed my graduation in Computer Applications (B.C.A.), followed by a postgraduate degree in Masters in Management Studies (M.M.S.) from Mumbai. This decision significantly changed the direction of my career and personal growth.

I began my professional journey as a Junior Software Tester, later progressing to Senior Software Tester, and then moving into a Junior Business Analyst role at Smartrix Technologies, Mumbai. This phase gave me immense satisfaction and strong exposure to business and technical collaboration. I then worked as a Manual Software Tester at Hurix Systems, Mumbai, for six months.

From May 2015 to April 2018, I worked at Ubisoft Entertainment (India) Pvt. Ltd. as a Professional Game Test Engineer. In November 2017, I was promoted to Junior Automation Engineer, where I began working on automation initiatives for large-scale game testing projects.

In 2018, I moved to Bangkok, where I have been living and working since. I am an expat originally from India with over 13 years of experience in software testing and quality engineering. Since starting my career in manual and automation testing in 2013, I have worked across gaming, fintech, SaaS, and digital signage platforms, covering web, mobile, PC, console, and VR environments. This broad exposure has helped me understand both technical and business challenges involved in delivering reliable products.

My core strength lies in building automation frameworks from scratch and transforming manual testing processes into scalable, reliable automation systems. Over the years, I have designed and implemented automation solutions using Python, Java, Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, WebDriverIO, and Appium. In multiple organizations, my work reduced manual testing efforts by more than half while significantly improving test coverage and stability. I enjoy working closely with development and DevOps teams and integrating automation into CI pipelines to enable faster feedback and more reliable releases.

Currently, I work as a Senior Software Automation Test Engineer and Software Developer at ScreenCloud, Bangkok, where I lead automation initiatives for a global digital signage platform. My responsibilities include framework design, test strategy, mentoring team members, improving test reliability, and supporting production releases across multiple hardware platforms and operating systems, including Samsung Tizen, LG webOS, Android, iOS, Windows, and macOS.

Previously, I worked in fintech at BRED IT, where I built the automation process from the ground up, improving release confidence and reducing deployment risks. Earlier in my career, I led technical QA teams in the gaming industry and worked on AAA game titles at Ubisoft, receiving recognition for delivering critical automation projects ahead of schedule. I also have hands-on experience with VR platforms and console certification processes, including Nintendo Switch compliance and platform guideline verification.

Outside of work, I am passionate about video games across all genres and platforms, and I enjoy exploring new technologies, gadgets, books, cycling, and movies. I am comfortable spending long, focused hours on technical work, especially when supported by good food and reliable internet. I take pride in contributing to teams that value quality, ownership, and continuous improvement.

At this stage of my career, I am excited to take on new projects and explore opportunities across different regions of the world. I am committed to working hard, growing continuously, and excelling in software and game testing. Maintaining a positive mindset, staying grounded during both success and failure, and consistently pursuing my goals are principles I strongly believe in.
