Sue McCabe

Sue McCabe's experience as a contract bargainer, WEA-PAC organizer, and member advocate has benefited teachers in her building and beyond. Sue is our current vice-president and has served for a total of 6 years under two presidents. Her 8 years on the bargaining team provide her with a depth of understanding that our members count on when facing contractual issues. Her breadth of knowledge comes from 5 years as a state-level WEAPAC manager, 12 years as a WEA Delegate and 3 years as an NEA Delegate.

Sue will lead, but she will also listen. She knows the issues that affect classroom teachers and other educators. She brings a professional voice to the table and uses it to ask tough questions.

Her track record of protecting our rights, expanding our influence, and building an effective workplace for educators and their students makes Sue McCabe the best choice for HEA President.
