Sue McFarland

I have a bachelor's degree in history with a strong emphasis in economics and a smattering of political philosophy in that transcript as well as a couple of introductory theology courses. I grew up in the turbulent '60s which had a profound influence on my political thinking. I have worked in recent years as a care giver and am currently the primary caregiver for my 83-year-old mother (not especially difficult since she still has her mind, thank goodness!). I have been a political junkie since the late 1960s: I actually read a copy of the Congressional Record between my 8th grade and freshman year and was absolutely riveted to the television during the "Watergate hearings" headed up by the late Senator Irving. I also have dabbled in writing some fan fiction within the last five years and plan to dabble some more.
