About Me

When I was 19, I moved to Ottawa and lived with my uncle Jim.

He was going through a divorce and had to put their custom-built home up for sale. Since I had nothing better to do, during the first viewing I was home.

My uncle’s real estate agent did not explain the house, he did not create a conversation with the buyers, I don’t think he even knew half the features of the home. I told my uncle Jim that I thought this agent did a terrible job!

The next week I went to find out about getting my license so that I could help my uncle get a good sale for their beautiful home.

Although I didn’t have enough time to become licensed in Ottawa and help, I never forgot the frustration of my uncle going through a crisis and not being represented well.

Fast- Forward a few years(2023)

For 20 years I have been a resource inside the real estate industry, starting out as an administrative assistant in a busy office in Calgary, AB, transacting over 100 deals per year – this was the height of the boom in 2004!

I have supported three of the highest-ranking teams in Calgary over those years, then went on to become the Manager of Training for a Keller Williams Brokerage, I also acted as a consultant for top agents and brokerages across Canada and I have spoken at Canada’s largest real estate conference, REATOR®QUEST on the topics of “Mistakes Agents Make” and “How to Succeed in Business”.

Twice I have been interviewed in FORBES on the subjects of Time Management and Referral Marketing and since 2022 I have been knee-deep in editing, re-writing and improving the licensing education for new Realtors as the VP of RELO in partnership with RECA.
