Sue is a regular exhibitor at the Wirksworth Art and Architecture trail, Derbyshire and this year is no exception. She will be found at 'The Coachouse' on The Dale on 7th and 8th of September. Her work is inspired by the female form as found in mythology and ancient world religions. She tends to wait for the stone to speak to her rather than impose her will at the initial stages of the carving. She experiences the process as meditative; a dialogue between her and the stone.
