Sue Ann Degarbo
Colorado resident Sue Ann Degarbo has spent most of her career working to further children's causes. From 1998 to 2008, she served as President of the Denver Children’s Advocacy Center. As the leader of the non-profit school for 10 years, Ms. Degarbo took responsibility for ensuring that the neglected children who came to the center would have a brighter future. Ms. Degarbo also oversaw hiring of new faculty and staff, as well as organizing fundraising events for the construction of new buildings.
In 2004, Sue Ann Degarbo, along with two other families, founded the Evergreen Country Day School. Acting as the Vice President of the nonprofit private school for four years, Ms. Degarbo also sat on the school board and committees that were tasked with interviewing and appointing new board members.
Currently, Sue Ann Degarbo is a Consultant in business and marketing matters for The Watermark LLC. Beyond her professional career, Sue Ann Degarbo enjoys traveling and participating in outdoor sports. Some of Ms. Degarbo’s favorite activities include golfing, skiing, playing tennis, and playing volleyball. She contributes to Kitchen Angels and the Marine Corp Scholarship Foundation, and has coached youth sports such as basketball and soccer.
