Sue Ann Ma

An experienced Certified Public Accountant and banking professional, Sue Ann Ma earned an undergraduate degree in education in Taiwan and a master’s degree in guidance and counseling in the United States. In addition, she studied accounting at Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas, earning her master of business administration in 1986. Sue Ann Ma went on to serve senior management posts with the Beaumont offices of Chase Bank and Hibernia Bank.

Since 2001, she has served as president of the Seminal Financial Group in Houston. Her daily duties with Seminal include general bookkeeping and preparing company tax returns.

When she is not working, Ms. Ma enjoys reading and global travel. Over the years, she has visited England, Italy, France, Germany, China, and Japan. In an effort to give back to the global community, she supports the charitable initiatives of the Red Cross. In the future, she wants to volunteer in China, teaching children English as a second language.
