Sue Brennan
Australia
I have lived in every state except WA, TAS and NSW (although I have spent a lot of time in Sydney). For a large part of my childhood I lived in Lae PNG and Arawa in Bougainville. My father was a civil engineer who built roads, bridges and hospitals. Queensland is my state of birth, but Melbourne is my home of 20 years now. By the time I started high school I had changed schools 11 times! Only a small part of me still feels like a Queenslander, eg. at State of Origin time. I am an artist in a technological hat who wants to be the next Ken Done of botanical watercolour. I work in medical sales, and I had lots of practice working in medical imaging for almost 20 yrs. I am a cat lover with two dogs. I am a single parent with two wonderful teenagers whom I'd die for before they ever came to harm. I jumped up and down really hard on London Bridge at the Great Ocean Road and it fell down three weeks later....oops. I no longer believe in knights in shining armour and that realisation has made me the happiest in my adult life but hasn't stopped me loving the odd soppy romantic film or novel. I do believe that in my past lives I was a spiritual being who served others, God and similar deities, but this life is about the materialistic. I don't believe money will make me happy, but I do believe it will make me less stressed. I believe I am the Leo, my golden hair is my mane, I like to be appreciated for my work and to be the centre of attention. I have reached an age where I am happy to share my traits, good or bad, and if you don't like who I am, I can honestly say I really don't give a damn, life is too short to exhaust myself with pretending to be something others may want me to be. I am a loyal friend, some friends I've kept for over 46 years! I will stand up for my friends and support them through thick and thin, to the point of endangering myself, but if disloyal to me, I believe in karma, not revenge. I want to scuba dive again, my last boat dive in Thailand was awesome, but my dive in the Maldives was the best I have done and the dives in Darwin harbour were the most adventurous. I know I've at least one bestselling novel and one self help book in me.
