Bonjour. I’m Sue McGary and my business, "French Affair" is all about my love affair with France.

French Affair brings happiness to your home with our range of superb European linen tablecloths, traditional tablecloths from Provence, Savon de Marseille soaps and unique gifts and homewares from France.

It's easy to be seduced by France. The people, the language, the amazing food, the delightful surprises to be found in each diverse region, the gorgeous country villages and the magic of Paris.

With over 30 years experience in marketing, events and entertainment, I was honoured to receive a number of national awards for business and excellence in marketing. Of course, it was just a matter of time before these skills were focused on my love of France. And so, in January 2008, French Affair was born and continues to evolve.

French Affair began by sourcing and selling unique gifts from France.

I wanted to share my love of France with other Francophiles, so I started to dream big! In July 2009, I created the French Affair Expo to celebrate the French experience in Brisbane.

After its phenomenal success, I was approached by the French community to collaborate and in 2010 we launched the Brisbane French Festival. With the help of an amazing committee, we created the most exciting French festival in Australia. Le Festival now covers an entire weekend and attracts around 50,000 visitors.

I’m now based in Sydney and regularly travel from Paris to Provence to source a superb range of authentic French products to share with you. You can shop online, as well as at our pop-up shops, markets and special events.
