I am a special education teacher who is passionate about forming global connections with my students and other students around the world. I enjoy spending my summers in Ghana as a volunteer teacher. While in Ghana, I have worked with students on literacy skills and girl empowerment and education. My students in SF share their lives with the students in Ghana through pen pal letters, story writing and bracelet sales to raise funds to support Ghanaian youth.
