CEO Raj Holdings Thakur Enterprises in Albuquerque, NM, USA

My name is Sujay Thakur, and I’m an entrepreneur, investor, and educator based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a degree in Chemical Engineering and Finance, and later completed the Owner/President Management Program at Harvard Business School. My career began on Wall Street, where I worked at Union Bank of Switzerland, Investment Technology Group, Lehman Brothers, and BNP Paribas, managing international equity and derivatives trading teams across New York, London, Hong Kong, and Tokyo.

In 2004, I founded Raj Holdings and Thakur Enterprises, which together have developed over 1.5 million square feet of industrial, retail, and residential real estate. I’ve also invested in education, hospitality, and childcare ventures. My approach blends focus, execution, and iteration — principles I learned early in my engineering studies and refined through business leadership.

Today, I’m passionate about how artificial intelligence can improve early childhood education, and I’m currently studying AI applications at Harvard’s D³ Institute. I support local schools like Manzano Day School and Bosque School, and I read constantly — often biographies of great innovators. Above all, I believe learning never stops, and every challenge is an opportunity to grow.
