About the real Bae Suzy

Suzy was born in Gwangju, South Korea on October 10, 1994. Before debuting, she was an online shopping model.

In 2009, she auditioned for Mnet Superstar K and made it through the preliminary round but she was ultimately eliminated. However, she caught the attention of a scout from JYP Entertainment and soon became a trainee.

After training for a year, she was paired with fellow members Fei and Jia. After the last-minute addition of Min into the group, the four of them prepared to debut as miss A.

Apart from her group activities, Suzy made her acting debut as the main female character Go Hye-mi with the drama Dream High. The drama proved to be a success. It also gained popularity in other countries and won several international awards.

Suzy's influence in the entertainment industry is very prominent. She is currently holding the status of a CF Queen due to numerous and well-received endorsement deals ranging from cosmetics, apparrel, up to basic commodities like sugar.
