A Post Graduate in English Literature from the Sacred Heart College, he went on to serve many companies successfully in a professional career spanning 25 long years. Starting in operations, he later moved onto Brand Marketing & Communications, serving on the board of several companies in both India and the Middle East as Marketing Director for over 20 years. During his sojourn in the Middle East, he was adjudged as one of the Top 10 CMOs in the Middle East & Africa Region in the year 2009 by a leading Magazine, for the highly successful Marketing Campaigns he led in the region.
A creative person, Sujil was the brain behind the Grand Kerala Festival which was conceived and produced with the Ministry of Tourism, Kerala State in the year 2000. He also founded the first ever Dubai International Kite Festival in Dubai in 2015, for which he won the special appreciation from the Ministry of Tourism in Dubai. He also has a Guinness Record under his belt, being one of the brains behind the One kilometer long “World’s longest Iftar table” laid out in Sharjah in the year 2012. He is also a film maker who has directed over a dozen TV Commercials, more than 20 Corporate Films and a Short Film “Jump”, which won two International Awards, Jury’s special mention in the Cinema Povero Festival in Italy and the Best Short film Award in the Middle East in Dubai in 2016. The film, which deals with parenting, won rave reviews, has been incorporated into the PTA Structure of over 160 schools in the UAE.
A widely travelled person, Sujil is also the founder of Readers Clubs worldwide which has chapters in over 16 countries and is also the Editor & Publisher of the International Online English Magazine, Beyond Borders, which has over 29,000 readers in 24 countries. A passionate Lensman, he is an officially empanelled photographer with the National Geographic Society. He also founded Activus, a theatrix driven Creativity convergence which has chapters in 11 cities across India, UAE and Australia
He currently he serves as a Secretary General & Director of the World Council of CCCI, the world’s first ever International Chamber of Commerce, which is being opened in over 30 cities across the globe. Sujil is married to Reena, a Corporate Trainer and the couple has an eight year old daughter, Issha. They have recently relocated to Cochin after being in UAE for 14 years
