Sukhpreet Gill

Hey there, I’m Sukhpreet (Sukhi) Gill. I’m a teacher living in Brampton, Ontario. I went to York University and studied Criminology. During my schooling I originally wanted to focus on being a police officer or go in the law field, but that all changed with my volunteering experience. I became involved with Big Brothers, Big Sisters and volunteered at my local hospital. During this time I work with many children and found a rewarding experience teaching and guiding them to learn and explore new ways of thinking. After my bachelors degree I decided to go to teacher's college at Lakehead University campus, located in Orillia.

I am a fan of all sorts of music from international, country to rap to rock. I love to travel aswell and have been to many places around the world and my goal is to see all of it. I am a big movie buff aswell and like to analyze different film techniques and auteurs. I’m also interested in education of all sorts to expand my knowledge. Currently I am working as an elementary teacher, but I do hold secondary qualifications. Some courses that I have taken increase my qualifications include Teacher Librarian, Special Education, Senior Law, and Physical Education. I also love to hike in mother nature.
