Private Bilingual Grammar School

We are a small school in the eastern part of Slovakia, in the heart of Europe.

The school was opened in 2005.

Our students graduate after 5 years of attendance. They are taught all subjects bilingually.

A lot of our students study for 1 year abroad- in the USA, GB, Finland and Norway

We have started etwinning and we cooperate with a school from Ukraine.

The school prides itself in using innovative methods, project teaching, tailor-made teaching programmes, etc.

The students use technologies on an everyday basis in and outside of the classroom.

Our facilities:

Internet access in all the classrooms, staff room, canteen

Interactive whiteboards and interactive electronic resources and media used in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Geography and Maths lessons

IT lessons are aimed at working with Word, Excel, Powerpoint presentations

The ss then use their ICT skills in all subjects

Homework, long and short term projects are assigned electronically, the ss work with emails and interactive educational websites using a variety of programmes

2 language labs, fully equipped IT classroom

New subjects: Global ethics and Tourism- e-learning form (tasks, HW, feedback and tests are done online)

Teachers make own teaching materials and use electronic devices in the classroom.
