I am currently the Founder/CEO of Jackson, Wyoming based Stio® - a direct to consumer outdoor lifestyle apparel and accessories brand which launched in the Fall of 2012.

I am the former Founder/CEO Mountain Origins LLC, a consulting group with a focus in the Outdoor, Snowsports and Fly Fishing industries.

From 1997-2009 I was the Co-Founder/President of Cloudveil an outdoor/fly-fishing/snowsports apparel manufacturer.

While at Mountain Origins LLC, I engaged in the operational restructuring and subsequent sale of Teton Village Sports and tetonvillagesports.com, a prominent Jackson Hole sporting goods retailer, to the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort.

While at Cloudveil, a brand which I co-founded and led from its inception in 1997 to over $23M in annual global sales in 2008, I focused on the product, marketing, ecommerce and retail divisions. I gained extensive hands-on experience working closely with hundreds of national and international outdoor, snowsports and fly-fishing retailers and distributors including MEC, REI, Orvis, Cabela's, EMS and SSV.

My product and marketing acumen has resulted in award-winning product and design/communication creative including five Malden Mills Apex Awards for design excellence, Outside Magazine "Gear of the Year" Awards and awards from Advertising Age and US Ad Review. I've built a resume of industry accolades and have been profiled in Inc., Entrepreneur, Outside, Men's Journal, Outdoor Retailer, Powder, Elevation and Sporting Goods Business.

I have been a frequent panelist and lecturer in the outdoor/snowsports/fly fishing space. I currently serve as a Board Member and CFO of local non-profit Center Management, Inc. was the former Vice Chairman of AFFTA (The American Fly Fishing Trade Association), previous President of Friends of Snow King, and board member of both Jackson Youth Soccer and 1% for the Tetons. I hold a Bachelors Degree in Humanities from Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado and am a 24-year resident of Wilson, Wyoming where I live with my wife and three children and enjoy alpine and nordic skiing, surfing, cycling, hockey, fly fishing, trail running, and stand up paddleboarding.
