Suman Karki

I am Suman Karki from lalitpur-14,Nepal.Just going through my Biography....I started being self dependent at the age of 16 when i finished my S.L.C ..i worked as a teacher for four years.i used to work at day and study at morning.I finished my Graduation and i just stop my work as i had a keen interest to study Lab-Technician,i finished it in 2001A.D and then as i had a disease of drug addiction,i went to Rehabilitation center(Richmond Fellowship Nepal )there i stayed for 3 months as for treatment and for some months i worked volunter staff and at the same time i just expose myself at kantipur television as a recovering users which helped me to get an opportunity to work as an program Officer at Damak-Jhapa at Addiction recovering center.I work there for 9 months and with the help of Dr.Sushil Shakya,Mr.Rajhiv Kafle and some of the representative of FHI, i addressed the need of PLHIV and made them clear about the need of Crisis and care and support group and got the authority to start SPARSHA-Damak,definately a branch of SPARSHA-Nepal.I was the main key to the door of SPARSHA-Damak.

Due to some reason i had to leave Damak and came back to Kathmandu,Nepal and again work at Richmond Fellowship Nepal and work as a counsellor.For the second time i again expose myself in kantipur Television.I worked at Sangati,Sparsha Nepal,Positive Voice,Aawash Samuha besides A.R.C(Addiction Recovery Center) and Richmond Fellowship Nepal and rest of other organizations.Just talking about Sparsha Nepal I do gave some contribution from my side in best possible way but with only pain no gain..sometimes it hurts me so badly and i can experience vast difference from 2002 till date in the name of social work.

Beside this,I also worked as an actor in HIJO AAJA KO kURA,participated in Mr. and Ms Kantipur 2004,recorded some songs written by me.myself,perfomed many stage shows etc and etc
