He received many awards and honours from various groups and recently was awarded for his Painting "Spiritual India" in International Art Exhibition in Philippines Sumit's work is based on Indian themes. His work also covers a broad range of subjects and use of materials; from Painting, and Photography to digital Art. His love for art has also influence him to write poemsHe proves his versatility, inventiveness and expertise as a surrealist, impressionist, abstract and realistic artist circulating in the art communities of India.
